No guarantee or warranty?

I was just listening to Joe's Hotdogs. The part about guarantees and warranties stuck out for me this time.

You never need a guarantee or warranty on a hotdog. But if it's not what you ordered, or if it's terrible, then you'll probably want your money back. Anybody would expect that.

Likewise, if you buy a new car and find something completely wrong about it (like the A/C won't work) then you should expect to have the problem solved for free, and get an apology.

The commentary on visiting Joe's Hotdogs is right in saying that sometimes you don't need assurances before you buy - especially if you're into something as authentic or original. Still, people assume a guarantee or warranty on many purchases.

So, listening to Joe's Hotdogs gets you thinking about that stuff; doesn't it?
